Our brief for them was to create a new visual identity and provide a digital first social media strategy for a targeted global marketing campaign to raise awareness of IOMAR and help support its growth strategy.

Isle of Man Aircraft Registry (IOMAR) is Europe’s second-largest private business jet register, and the world’s sixth largest.

Since it began in 2007 more than 1,000 aircraft have been registered by IOMAR, and it has twice been voted Best Global Aviation Registry in the World Commerce Review awards.

The Challenge

Our brief was to…..

  • Create a new visual identity, website landing pages and digital assets.
  • Provide a digital-first social media strategy for a targeted global marketing campaign to raise awareness of IOMAR and help support its growth strategy.
Our Mindset

Our starting point was working with the client to develop a detailed understanding of IOMAR’s unique advantages. This led us to think about the capital M which is the official, internationally respected registration mark seen on all Isle of Man-registered aircraft.

But it’s much more than just a letter – it’s a symbol trusted across the global aviation industry as a sign of an award-winning registry with exceptionally high standards. This inspired our thinking to create visual assets around the theme of high standards being easy to find by choosing IOMAR.

Our Method

Taking this forward in images and copy, the M becomes a beacon which makes it easy for the target audience to find everything they need and want in an aircraft registry.

Our suite of creative assets provides powerful, engaging, digital content for the consumer-centric campaign we created, totally focused on the experience and peace of mind provided by IOMAR’s exceptionally high standards. To enhance the digital content further we also created a 30-second video – and an animated logo – to drive social and website traffic to the Registry’s landing page.

Having created a digital campaign from the design stage right through to deployment and management, this is an excellent example of MMC’s holistic approach which sets us apart from other agencies in the finance and technology sectors.
